Our Story
A 20-Month Struggle That Changed Everything
Not long ago, I sat down to speak with someone who had been searching for a job for 20 agonizing months. As I listened to their story of endless applications, silent rejections, and dwindling hope, after the call my mind drifted to my own daughter, who was just 18 months old at the time.
It was a profound and jarring realization: for the entire lifetime of my child every milestone, every first step, every sleepless night this capable, this hardworking person had been trapped in a cycle of unemployment. They weren't stuck because they lacked talent, drive, or ambition. They were stuck because they lacked access. That single conversation changed the way I viewed the modern job market forever, and it became the seed that would grow into the Breeze Workforce Foundation.
The Problem: A Pay-to-Play Job Market
We are often told that if you work hard and put yourself out there, you will find an opportunity. But the reality is that the modern job search has quietly become a pay-to-play system.
When you are out of work, every dollar counts.
